Showing initiative/teamwork
initiative and teamwork are two major themes of most workplace improvement programs; but few realize how powerfully these two concepts can be synergistically intertwined.
If you over hear some one put forth a good idea you should show initiative by going straight to your supervisor and telling them the idea yourself and then implement teamwork by offering to let the person who originally had the idea help you.
If an idea is already being implemented and its too late to initiativize yourself out in front of it, you should practice teamwork by insinuating yourself into the process. Don't worry about whether your help is needed, or whether you're even able to help, the important thing here is that you are practicing teamwork, make sure you get partial if not majority credit for the assignment, because this demonstrtes the concept of teamwork to others.

dress for success
Popular wisdom states that one whould dress for the job he wants. That's hard to do when the job you <i> have </h> precludes you from doing so due to lack of funds.
With this in mind I've come up with a few ways for poor suckers like you to fool real people into giving you a better job.
check out this suit
And i think these shoes would match nicely.
perry ellis is a solid company, and pin stripes will help slim you down. At 93 dollars, I'm your could afford one of these with only two or three month's compensation from your current occupation. Don't forget to always grasp the opening of your jacket with the left hand.
If you are a woman firt let me tell you that I am sincerely sorry for your misfortune.
You may not be able to change the fact that you're a woman (at least not until after you're making serious cash!) but in the meantime try adding on of these hats to whatever you're already wearing. You'll find that these hats are like blue jeans, they go with anything!
And why not add these fun yet professional John Deere Fux cowboy boot style rain galoshes?

maximizing the potential of others
Today I'd like to discuss a concept that many people fail to grasp and implement to its fulll potential.
Of course every leader in an organization seeks to maximize the potential of others, but consider the following caveats.
If you are not a leader, finding ways to maximize the potential of others (henceforth abbreviated as mtpo) is one of the best ways you can convince your leaders that you should be a leader, too.
What follows is one of my favourite and most proven strategies:
When attempting to mtpo seek out only those individuals in your workplace who are at or below your rank. Then, single out individuals who are quiet but seem intelligent. Befriend them and draw them out of their shell. Often, these people will have many good ideas for improving the workplace, and/or will have many pent-up jokes.
You can help the person(s) by taking what they say and passing it on to your leader. Remember, never tell your supervisor where you got the information! Doing so would be a breach of trust with those you are trying to mtpo. If they wanted the supervisor to hear their ideas or jokes, they would have told the supervisor themselves.
